• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

History

Ninette was born on earth within the Nordic areas of the Commonwealth of Worlds. Relatively well off, she could afford the best education. Her studies would lead her on the path to Xenobiology and early on she would transfer to New Cambridge, the Ivory towers of humanity and the leading place to develop talents. Almost as soon as she arrived, tensions between the American Union and the Magnetic Assembly would boil over due tot he American Union's attempt to abandon the Adlets, stranding her in this star system.

During this time, she would continue to study Xenobiology and assist with the understanding of the Grawla native to the planet Hawking. The outbreak of blight in the northern islands of the planet would lead to her being approached by the Provisional Fleet to join their research efforts at which point she would end up being scooped up by the Heram Wazu and assigned to the crew of the Edward Deming where she would assist with study of the Blight.

Skills

Ninette's strength lies in her empathetic nature, a powerful force that sometimes hinders her decisions due to emotional sensitivity. Her aversion to violence, while a principled stand, becomes a vulnerability in cosmic conflicts. Her care for others fosters unity but makes her susceptible to exploitation. Her faith in God, a guiding light, would occasionally conflict with the pragmatic choices demanded by the cosmos.
