C-1 is a combat robot created by a human prisoner of the Daqin who was later executed as part of the lead up to a Daqin attack on the Aliyum Planetoid of Azathoth. C-1 was recovered by Green-Squad during follow up operations, and would eventually join the crew of the Edward Deming.

He looks exactly like the NAO robot developed by Aldebaran Robotics in 2008.

Having witnessed the cold-blooded murder of his inventor and friend, C1 was driven by vengeance until he discovered the New Testament. The gospel of Jesus transformed his life, but his vocabulary is still limited to the English translations of the Old Testament stored in his internal database.

C1 can ride "The Rim" by attaching it to the soles of his feet.

Upgrades to C1 in late 2322 would allow for underwater operation. This includes watertight mouth and ear upgrades as well as water resistant seals/oils around joints.
