Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

-Physical Description-
A gleaming tower of polished green-gold metal and black rubberized sections, Exemplar Gailen has chosen to embody the Magnetic Assembly spirit by entirely encasing their body in an armoured shell. Their head is more like a golden helmet, with sleek 'hair' covering a sleek blank faceplate. Senses are achieved through long ear spikes, a camera gem in the middle of the forehead, and a short antenna looking a bit like a feather in their 'head band'.
Body type is humanoid, but they have 'mecha proportions' with elongated legs and larger shoulders. Their hands are double-thumbed mechanical claws, and their feet merely sleek optimized heel-hooves. It's difficult to tell what on their torso is organic, but it is very formly as it is tightly sealed within a glossy synthetic coating.
They have an engraving of the SEER logo on their left shoulder pad, as well as various other identification symbols around their body. They do still sometimes wear human clothes.
-Personality Description-
Theodora's voice is raspy and synthetic, but soothing and calm like a powerful whisper. They adamantly believe in machine transcendence, but also aesthetics and beauty. A strong scientific mind can lead them to incredible insights and perceptions, but at the same time, they can come across as a little detached from reality.

History
Even in the more peaceful times before the rebellion, Theodora had a distrust of the flesh, and an arcane love of the metallic form. She lead a relatively normal life as a timid physics teacher for much of their adulthood, part of a rich family that invested in space infrastructure early on in the planet's colonisation history.
When the influence of the Magnetic Assembly took hold, she found herself somewhat of a pariah, disinterested in the conservative nature of their money-obsessed family. She accepted the dangerous job of caring for Echoni at SEER, and was practically ostracized for it.
Entirely enthralled in Doris Muller's concepts of transhumanism, as well as an increasing contempt for short-sighted human capitalist interests, they chose to use her wages and contacts to replace as much of their body with cybernetics as possible.
Some say that Dr.Muller leaving the company, as well as Dr.Murphy's early retirement, led to them being rapidly promoted due to their pro-MA aesthetics- In actual fact, their bodily modification allowed them to survive much longer and take greater risks in the occupation, no doubt fuelled by their single-minded dedication to the cause of human ascension.
Eventually they found themselves put in charge of the GMRP, or "God Materials Reclamation Project", effectively a department in concourse sigma dedicated to collaborating with Echoni to hunt down xeno artefacts and entities on Hawking.
