Less Than Three
The official Echoni Fanclub\\
- Promotional Material\\
Publicly, the Echoni are held up as the culmination of all research and efforts towards improving humanity. Up until 2320 the Echoni were largely kept as a mostly secret project with only some whispers and rumors leaking out. After 2320 and the New Years Revolution the Echoni started to be more heavily publicized as The Magnetic Assembly tried to find ways to continue to fund the project and provide for the Echoni themselves. The Songstress/Idol Echoni Z-9 would quickly gain wide popularity between both members of the Assembly and the local population of Hawking. When the Echoni were granted a place to live atop one of the archologies of New Cambridge, many were drawn to them in order to see them.
The Fanclub itself grows in size daily, and often offer up gifts to the Echoni.
While they are not directly responsible for, or directly contribute to, the Echoni project they do exert influence on the project through The Magnetic Assembly.
Organization
The Echoni Fanclub originally started as largely an Ad-Hoc organization that formed after the initial disclosures of the Echoni program. The Echoni themselves were hyped up as the next form of Humanity, and attracted devotees after Exemplar Doris Muller gave her living quarters over to them. This 'Echoni House' ended up with fans camping outside, which would eventually lead to Echoni Number 444 organizing the group, pooling their resources and trying to turn the Echoni encampment into a more reasonable living space.
Organization has largely become "444 tells people what to do."
Recruitment
Less Than Three is helped by SEER's various attempts to promote the Echoni among the population of New Cambridge. The Echoni program is massively expensive, and is only able to be funded by the enthusiastic support of the population of New Cambridge and the various members of other Sub-Assembles of the Magnetic Assembly itself. These promotional attempts have included teaching the Echoni to Sing, meet and greets, and the transfer of cybernetic technology from SEER down into the population of New Cambridge.
Also word of mouth, since some of the members simply enjoy taking care of the 'Wild Echoni'.

History
Less Than Three is a relatively new organization formed after the disclosure of the Echoni in 2320 following the New Years Revolution. The massive cost of the Echoni Program and now loss of a market for "American Union SuperSoldiers" meant that SEER needed to find a new way to fund the project. This would lead to promoting the Echoni among the population which in turn would lead to the formation of the Echoni Fan Club.
The Fan Club would get its first opportunity to observe the Echoni when Dorris Muller turned her living space over to the Echoni, leading to the 'fans' forming their own encampment nearby. Eventually, the Echoni 444 would start telling them what to do, and end up as the De-Facto Echoni leader of the fanclub.
Culture
The Fanclub is a loose collection of individuals who all have some personal interest in seeing the Echoni succeed. Many are simply fans, though the diehard members are far more cult-like. These diehard members will often act like stalkers, camping out near the Echoni House and trying to help take care of the Echoni themselves.
