Brief
Lada-Kamaz-Yula is a trilateral automotive, aeronautical and space giant, established by major vehicle manufacturers in the Soyuz sphere.
History
While AvtoVAZ and Kamaz saw success from the 1960s deep into the 21st century, the businesses began to struggle when isolationism commenced in the 2070s. The Renault Group was forced to pull its majority share out of AvtoVAZ, as all of the still functioning manufacturing plants were deep in the now closed Russian territory. This prompted Rostec Auto, the holdings organisation for AvtoVAZ, to propose a merger with truck manufacturer Kamaz - who was struggling with similar problems. The agreement came into force in 2082 CE, with AvtoVAZ having rebranded its name to reflect its most successful series - Lada.
After the turn of the century and the commencement of the Yasny colonization project, Lada-Kamaz had to pick up some of the domestic demand for more advanced engines, aircraft development and light SSTO shuttlecraft. To procure the supply and expertise required to facilitate the new projects, Lada-Kamaz acquired an electric vehicle startup enterprise that exploded in the 2100s, Novosibirsk-based 'Yula Dynamo'. While Lada-Kamaz-Yula became a leading player in the domestic personal, logistical and public transportation vehicle market, each internal manufacturer credits their models and products independently.
Lada is known for being the go-to for CCM general vehicles both diesel and electric, developing most of the personal transportation used by CCM citizens as well as spacebound shuttles and certain military hardware. Kamaz is known for its production of industrial vehicles and mining platforms, finding a particularly large presence on Soroka and Earth. Yula is known for its development of the Kitezhan monorail network, aerial vehicles and relay satellites for the mBeam Nexus in Sol and Yasny.
