• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

"B-but I am Charley!" Held up by the scruff in Jayden's grasp, the Koala whined at the question. As it said this though, Rikka could only feel...honesty in its answer. These strange star faring people, the Daqin, didn't they make people? What if there was more than one Charley? The Caelumar realized that this wasn't the best question to ask as she followed after Jayden, the other Charley speed-waddling behind them in a somewhat adorable attempt to keep up. Meanwhile, Brigid found herself several Daqinese men. Second class, of course. Still, they were young men. Very fit, handsome men. Men that were the perfected pinnacle of humanity. Just laying there, asleep in their rooms, vulnerable.

The current mission was to protect and guard them right? What better way was there than to stay nearby?

As the others neared the maintenance area in the back though, they spotted Viz's rear sticking out of the vent that they had initially found the first Koala Chongwu in. The air smelled slightly coppery like blood, even now, but more importantly? The priestess couldn't get in all the way. Her hips were keeping her out.

"I - there!" they could hear her muffled voice. Sliding back, she turned and pointed. "There! See! It's a murderer monster!!!" Deeper into the vent, a foot was sticking out from around the corner, having been pulled back and into view. "The Koala was stuffing her into there! I saw it drag her into this room, and then we had a showdown where we were yelling at each other and powering up and stuff!"

"Oh nooooo!" the two Koalas chorused together. "I didn't do it!" they spoke in unison.

Immediately, Rikka's senses went off. There was a liar.

"My career is over," Sif deadpanned, a distant, glazed look in her eyes.

Rikka seemed upset over the fact that the smaller creature seemed to tell the truth, her blue eyes narrowed for a moment but eventually relented as she followed behind the others. But as they entered into maintenance room and they both at once confessed their innocence, Rikka's eyes narrowed again and her wings shivered.

"Liar..." She growled before she looked to the two. "One of you is lying, and I know how to figure it out. Jayden, take your companion outside please. I want to talk to the other one first." Her hand groped at her side for her sword and she felt naked without it, naked without so much of her normal equipment. But she wasn't completely unprepared. Instead she let out a huff and eyed the small creature, waiting for Jayden to remove the other, so long as the woman actually listened to her for once.

Brigid stared at the naked man in front of her, eyes focusing on a rather large bulge in the sheet. Her annoyance at Jayden quickly started fading, replaced by several other feelings. She thought about their mission and the fact that she was still not the best with a gun. Magic was another story. It was almost second nature to her back at home. A place like this with low magic was harder, of course, but she could draw mana out of people as well. It just took a little work, and for her, it was more like fun than work.

The question was, would the Daqin punish a third-class for getting frisky with sleeping second-class men, even if it was for the mission? She reasoned they would only be upset if she happened to get pregnant. Fortunately, that wouldn't be necessary. It might give her less mana but she could get it without actually touching them.

Her desire got the better of her though. Seeing a vulnerable young man lying there for the taking was like a dream for her. She closed the door behind her and muted her comms. Taking off her armor was likely a bad idea, but it had to be done. She stripped off her armor and hid it under the bed, pulling her bodysuit off.

The succubus pulled the covers down, exposing her target. His manhood was perfectly shaped, longer than a can of soda, and nearly as thick. She was already dripping wet when she climbed on the bed and took him in her hands. Almost shyly she leaned down and licked his balls, trailing her tongue up his shaft to the head. "Mmm.." She moaned softly. She nibbled the head playfully and grinned. Her mouth, tongue, and fingers worked on him until he was fully erect. Then she climbed onto him and plunged his dick deep into herself, beginning to ride him hard.

Dante scowled at the two koalas, his amber eyes flicking between the two with disdain, unhappy that he had possibly been fooled by a koala of all things. He pointed his gun at the one he had played rock paper scissors against, his finger itching to fire as he dropped his helmet into his suit.

He stood, probing them with his scowl for a moment until he quirked his eyebrow. He felt the loss of some magic from the room and a semi familiar spike of something else, looking down the hall toward the male dorm with a look of mild, though unsurprised, annoyance.

"I, uh, I wouldn't go down there for a few minutes" he announced to the rest of the group, nodding in the direction Brigid had went.

As they made to begin their interrogation of the suspects in earnest, they could tell that something had changed. Something drastic. They could all feel it. Their skin tingled, and their hairs stood on end as a long, piercing, strangled scream suddenly stabbed through the cold air.

The euphoric rush of magic pouring into Brigid was utterly intoxicating and addictive, but the moment the redhead felt a hot slug slam into her, she heard someone scream at the top of her lungs. Head spinning, it took her a moment to realize that it was her own voice. Magic had ripped through her like a bolt of lightning, and now, her nerves tingled with energy. Brigid had never, ever felt this way before in her entire life, but the moment her mind was able to snap out of the afterglow long enough to think, she knew. Unfortunately, there wasn't very much magic in the air here, and even stripping it out and gobbling it all up for herself, she was just back to 'normal'.

Hardly worth getting knocked up for in hindsight.

"Did she diddle them?" Viz angrily let go of the leg with a thump, the person's limb now limply dangling out of the vent she was half-dragged out of. "Did she? SHE DID NOT DIDDLE THEM!" the priestess began to pout, stomping her feet as her cheeks began to puff up.

"Of course she did," Sif emotionlessly replied, a dead, thousand yard stare in her eyes. "Of course she did," she then nodded to Dante. With Brigid located somewhere down the men's hallway, he was their resident expert in all things Infernumar. And if he said that was what happened - no matter how indirectly - then that was what happened. "I guess we should try and salvage the situation," the white haired Tigress sighed, her ears drooping along with her tail. "Jayden could you go ahead and take your Koala out a - " A mopping cart smashed into the back legs of the Ligress, sending her topping over before rocketing over into Rikka's chest, right as the shaft of a mop swung up and in between Dante's legs and a whole shelf piled down on top of Sif. Glowing bright blue, the undressed Koala leaped onto Viz, the costume holography of her hair crackling as it latched onto the back of her now revealed helmet.

"Fukkkin Daqin!" it began smashing a Koala sized crowbar into Viz's helmet, the young woman now screaming her head off as she floundered and flailed about.

Brigid climbed off the hairy, naked student. She could feel his seed dripping out of her, and she had pretty thoroughly soaked him. Her thoughts quickly became clear again as the feeling of euphoria wore off. She was still feeling depleted of mana, but now she wasn't annoyed anymore. Regardless of the purpose of her quickie, she couldn't leave him like this. She cleaned herself off and then the Ox man, proceeding to put her bodysuit back on. Then she donned her armor and helmet, unaware that everything was going tits up.

The succubus casually strolled back down to maintenance and opened the door. "Hey, you guys figure out who-"She started, words faltering as she saw the chaotic scene. Seeing Viz under attack by a naked koala, she drew her gun and tried to get a clear shot. "Can't leave you guys unsupervised for five minutes. Stop flailing, I can't get a shot!" She called out to Viz.

Rikka's eyes turned as she felt the rush of magic that flowed to the succubus, and it caught her off guard. How had the magic, what little was left, suddenly shift so quickly away. Something felt wrong and it had gotten her attention just long enough to draw her eyes from the Koala to the wall where she felt the vacuum, before she suddenly felt herself on her back with a serious lack of air in her lungs. She gasped and rolled over, and after a moment fought through the sensation of pain that kept wind from her lungs to force some in and finally spotted what was going on.

Viz was under attack by something... Something that had once masqueraded as a ally, something she had known was evil moments before and now had confirmation. She could see the difficulty that Brigid had getting a clear shot, and opted to give her a chance through either forcing the fake Koala off Viz, or pinning the two down. The Caelumar scrambled to her feet and in a smooth motion, spun and charged head long at Viz. She aimed for Viz herself, arms out and wide to grab and tackle, to pin her to a wall and already she began to charge up a spell, to use on the fake Koala should it turn to attack the bigger target. Should she be able to get a hold of it, she would force it against the wall and pin it there and hopefully separate it from Viz.

Jayden yeowled as she crashed to the ground, quickly rolling over and jumping to her feet. The big problem with that trick was it lacked understanding that the Chongwu had a massive temper and she was already having a bad day. She let out an enraged roar, grabbing Viz, who the Koala was currently on and threw the both of them into the wall, starting her stomp over to smash them into paste.

The moment Brigid entered the maintenance room, she was met with utter Chaos. "I can't get a good shot!" Sif yelled, aiming up from the ground. Objects floated about like they were levitated by ghosts, only to come smashing into people and knocking them over. Pistol drawn, she quickly leveled the crosshairs of her weapon, but it was filled with nothing but Viz and flashes of grey as the blue haired priestess flailed about, her arms uselessly flapping and smacking up against the Koala.

"It was just a few days! Just a few days in the mine cave-in!" the Koala angrily began to rant at them. Swinging its tiny, blue glowing crowbar, Viz's helmet began to crack, only for Rikka to quickly come in, hand glowing as she tried to pin them. But as they struggled, a furious roar tore through the air, and with a blur of pink, the three ended up getting hurled through the air as Jayden simply grabbed them all and YEETed them into the wall. Sticking against it with a solid thud for the briefest of moments, the trio plopped down into the ground as the infuriated Ligeress stomped over, but already, the menacing Koala levitated off of Rikka and Viz's tangled bodies, the latter now clinging onto the Caelumar for what she thought was dear life.

"They're gonna replace you too!" the menacing Charlie shouted at Jayden, his feet touching down on the ground. "Replace you with an idiot like they did me!" Swiping his hand through the air, hammers and wrenches flew off the wall racks and pummeled Jayden, her helmet deploying out from her security guard disguise just as metal swung in at her temple, stumbling her to the side. Bright lights flashed across her vision as a wave of shock passed through her bones. "AAAAAAAHH!" the abandoned Charlie screamed, clutching at a bleeding arm. "You bitches!" Guns smoking, Brigid and Sif took their shots, but the first glanced away, a faint blue shimmering bubble rippling around the Koala. However, red stained his fur as the second didn't curve away quite enough. Raising his good arm, the power-saw revved up and floated into the air. "They're gonna replace you all!"

The Koala, Viz, Jayden, being thrown about, guns shot, things being levitated and thrown around, it began to drive deep into her head and her patience and tolerance. And it was starting to really annoy her... To the point where it was time to act for her. She had been thrown into the wall and tangled up with Viz, but she eventually put her arms into the girl's midsection and growl before she shoved her off to get some space from her. In her other hand there was a deadly crackling ball of lightning. She watched the small Koala take the shots from Brigid and Sif, before she decided to step in.

As the shield seemed to flicked and fail and the shots landed Rikka threw a bolt of lightning at the creature with a snarl on her face, which somehow was still hidden even in all the fighting.

Brigid stared at the juiced-up koala Chongwu. This still didn't make any sense. A Chongwu like these two shouldn't be able to think like this, let alone use magic. Had it somehow been taken away from here and altered or was it malfunctioning? What the ever-living fuck was it even ranting about? At this rate, they weren't going to learn anything about what happened.

"Try not to kill it! We need to bring it back for questioning." She called out, though she had no clue how to do that without any magic of her own. It seemed like Rikka was their only hope right now. Brigid kept her gun on the koala and backed up towards the door. She wasn't going to let it out. "Someone cover the vent. We have to contain it! I'm tired of returning to Sakamoto with nothing."

Dante picked himself up off the floor, the koala had caught him off guard enough to drop him like a ton of bricks. Raising to one knee he leveled his pistol at the now frighteningly magic koala, grimicing from the pain of hitting the ground.

"That ain't a fuckin chongwu" he hissed through his helmet as he caught brigids orders and scrambled toward the vent with the body.
