• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

[The Gentle Breeze] Chapter 3 - Psychadellic Boogaloo

"WaaaAaaaaaahhhh!" Viz cried into Rikka's arm, either too hysterical or too stupid to realize it was Brigid that had helped her up onto her feet. "Thank you so much!" she sniffled, clinging onto the holy woman. "O-once I set up a Holy Empire, I'll make sure you're a general leading The Crusades, and we'll get rid of all those dirty Infernumar and abominations everwhere! Together!" she promised, looking up at the feather winged woman with teary eyes.

"I see whatever ranking Caelumar you'll be meeting has a lot of explaining to do," Sif remarked regarding Rikka. As they entered the main lobby, the snowy haired Tigress snapped her fingers. In an instant, the portraits on the walls rearranged themselves into windows, and what looked like a skylight began to assemble, and in an instant, they knew where they were at. Far off in the distance, they could see a small sun and several planets circling about it as they stood upon a cold, lifeless planetoid in the outer reaches of some system. What was once a dark and unlit ball of rock was brightly lit like the surface of the moon with light-bearing towers, and outside their building, Chongwu in space suits went about their business. "The computer's rebooted and we can see outside now," Sif commented. "We're at a mining camp by the looks of it," she observed, a transport full of ore driving by in the low-gravity to emphasize her point. "We'll get picked up soon with the comms back up, but don't forget to put our student intern into the medical pod," she reminded Dante.

"I feel I will be there to destroy your holy empire, in it's affront to the Gods above." Rikka said off handedly, but she nodded and looked behind her at the two Infernumar and rolled her eyes. "I do sadly agree about their needed to be purged though..." She shook her head and eyed Sif as they walked into the Lobby, looking around as eveything began to rearrange itself and it caught the woman off guard a little, unsure of just what was going on, or that the fact that they were yet again on another celestial body, somewhere not a normal planet, it was strange for her and she had to wrap her head around it even as she watched the Automated Transports.

"There is a lot of things we will have to talk about when I see my people, I will care little to have the lies of those Infernumar proven wrong." She explained to Sif as she stepped up to the windows of the room they were in and narrowed her eyes. "So wait... I thought we were going to a college, not a mining facility?" She asked before she looked back to Sif.

"Nuh uh! You're gonna like it! It'll be the bestest, most devout and pious empire ever, with proper family values!" Viz nodded to herself, replying to Rikka. "Though look out for these two! Even if they tell you the truth, it's to make you feel funny!" the priestess pointed at Brigid and Dante.

"It is a college," Sif replied, turning to eyeball their slightly toasted captive for a moment. "Just one that is more typical to the Daqinese than anyone else," she began. Gesturing to the scene outside, the white haired tigress continued, "Their education is done in virtual reality, a sort of mind-scape that they can share. Meanwhile, they also have to run things here as part of their education as well, often at the same exact time." For a moment, Sif looked out the window, only to point her finger at a tiny speck of blue-white. Looking back at them, the woman added, "Ellie is on that planet there, by the way." Picking up the Koala in the bag, she promptly opened the doors proper, revealing a large, industrial airlock. Inside, there were several body-tight space suits, helmets and all sorts of other bits of gear they'd need outside, including several containers. Picking one with a screen, she plopped 'Evil Charley' inside, the screen coming to life like a window into the interior. "It's time to go," Sif stated.

"Goodbye everyone! Thanks for visiting!" the good Charley waved them all farewell.
