• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. ADDED CHAPTER 5: Grawlkind is poised midway between the Gods and Beasts

Our heroes land on the Alda homeworld expecting to help out the Alda, only to find themselves attacked by knife wielding supporters of the former Alda leader. After a bit of investigation, they head into the forests to hunt down the source of the trouble on this planet that they suspect is a Daqin force.
 
Added Chapter 6: The Furthest the Grawl have Gone

Our Heroes are sent to track down Garf, the former emperor of the Alda city, and find out that he's had some help from the Daqin.

Also Zenigata challenges him to a duel for SUPREMECY.
 
ADDED CHAPTER 8: THE GRAWLA FACE THE MUSIC (Part 1)

Getting close to the end of the book. Time for the Zoomers to show that their space-adventure is worth it.
 
I think this is the end of Book 4. The Grawl's first foray into space and the after-effects of that adventure are over. The Zoomers have gone into space and convinced the other Grawl to follow them.

The Grawl are ready to abandon the old ways of hiding from space-things, and go to space-things to fight them head-on!

Now they've just got to figure out how to do all that.
