Sovanna is a tall woman with a determined look in her eyes, broad shoulders, and the posture befitting one of the better soldiers to come out of the Shen Zhou propaganda machine. She wears her jet black hair short with the sides shaved off. She always wears some form of military outfit, even during the few hours she would be allowed to behave as a citizen.

Sovanna is first of all a no-nonsense person. She has very little tolerance for foolishness. She is a true idealist, even if her ideals are radical. She believes that strict military order is vital for every day life, and she isn't afraid to speak when she has something to say. Despite all of these traits, she is clearly a passionate individual with a deep love for her nation, and the vision she has for it.

Sovanna was another one of the products of the Shen Zhou propaganda machine, but there was a slight mistake when she was being conditioned. Unlike most mistakes, where the issue is that the subject's conditioning does not radicalize them towards the ideals of the state enough, Sovanna's conditioning radicalized her too far. She truly believed, from the age of 5, that the Shen Zhou system was destined to be a super power on the universal stage, annihilating all of its enemies with ease in Its ascension to galactic domination. This zealotry led her to devote herself fully to the Shen Zhou military, and that devotion paid off with her exiting the academy with an assignment to a special operative team At the age of 18. She joined that team, and, finally free from the propaganda that surrounded her daily, the perfect visage started to crack. She saw how the 'corruption' of the HFR weakened her home, and how the republic system was unable and unwilling to stage a war against the Daqin to protect the most valuable system they had, and she understood what she had to do. If Shen Zhou was to be the super power she wanted it to be, it would need to be freed from the chains of its Heaven-Forged prison. After 3 years, she defected from her squad with just her gun and her small bag of belongings, and began working on dismantling the HFR, one bomb at a time.
