The MA-5.56 has an electronic primer on one end, and a combined propellant/bullet stack that includes a metallic 'bucket' component that can be used as part of a rail-launch system or simply ejected out the front of the weapon along with the bullet.
Ammunition Types
MA-5.56-HESH-S
The most widely produced round type fires a subsonic HESH explosive. This small explosive is generally poor at penetrating armor, but can cause spalling on impact and will generally chip into or shatter armor rather than being defeated completely by it. The explosive also will generally cause a very shallow but large wound channel in a target. This makes it best for indoor, urban, or other close range situations.
