The Type 30 Hardsuit, or Sānshí Xíng Yìng Jiǎ (三十型硬甲), is considered an oddity due to being introduced in 2324 CE, well ahead of schedule due to political pressure. Though its literal translation means "hard armor", the choice of "hardsuit" was deemed more appropriate when translated to other languages given its intended use. As the sum of its parts, the Type 30 Hardsuit is considered the pinnacle of Daqinren armor technology.
  • Primary protection uses ceramic matrix composite plates, highly resistant to most small arms
  • Secondary protection uses energized polymer armor weave similar to the Type 4 Combat Suit
  • Nuclear, biological, chemical resistant protective layers and kinetic energy absorbing gel
  • Thermoptic camouflage shunts heat, leaving hot footprints, while high fidelity color shifting pigments cloak the suit visually
  • Advanced sensor suite based in the 'ears' or 'horns'
  • High performance batteries for extended operation, very expensive
  • Primary sensors feed directly to Daqinren cortex
  • Heavily armored helmet visor has secondary vision system, compact emitters project directly into the eyes
  • Secondary transparent titanium visor exposed by flipping up the main visor
  • Hair retaining mechanism automatically grabs and reels in long hair for easy helmet donning
  • Zero-G maneuver system provides limited mobility in space by firing small jets of atmosphere from life support systems
  • Hologram system built into hands, forearms and helmet for enhanced communication

Optional Systems

  • Glide-wing system has two folding/collapsing wings, attaches to the back
  • EVA module uses two primary ion thrusters and four 'wing' mounted vernier ion thrusters
  • Wrist-mounted auto-guns: uses stripped down upper receiver from short-barreled Type 3 Assault Rifle
  • Calf-mounted mini-missile launcher w/ three cells: uses 40x100mm Máquè
  • Back-mounted modular-weapon arm with autofeeder: available with one or two arms
