From the shia system born in 2998. Orphaned at 2 on the border planet between the irulan empire and crontarian empire. Tantus doesn't remember the early years. He remembers the irulan saved him they were trying to capture his home world. The crontarian took heavy losses and gave in. They didn't retreat the ones left implemented "scorched earth" killing all living crontarian and burning all supplies. Death before disgrace crontarian are not prisoners. Tantus sat on the floor playing when he heard the explosions and laser fire. The war had come to his family. his parents were nowhere around. the food his mother was cooking begin to scorch. He looks for them with no luck. He cant remember them at all but he remembers the soldier. The soldier with the odd name. He scooped him up and exited the home as a crontarian dropped a volley of explosives on his house. He transported him to the nearest triage unit and dropped him off. The irulan sent him to the orphanage to live their way. He excelled in training and schooling. Graduating at 17. To serve as one of the youngest mech pilots. 3 years he trained hard to beat them all. He never trusted the irulan but they saved him
