Personality


Taelara is a calm and logical individual, though sometimes she can come off as cold and aloof to those that don't know her well. She has no patience for politics, bureaucracy, and red tape: she considers anything that keeps her from her work a waste of time, and she's not afraid to let you know it. She enjoys tinkering with anything she can get her hands on, taking it apart and rebuilding it over and over until she learns exactly how it ticks.

History


Unlike most of the Aos Si living within the HFR, Taelara was actually born in Yunwang, a child of some of the earliest "uplifted" Aos Si. As a result she is well assimilated into human society, and considers herself to be a cultural "bridge" of sorts between the two peoples. Despite this, she sometimes finds herself caught in the middle: not truly human enough to belong with them, too distant from her own people to ever really connect with them.

She has always had a passion for understanding the world around her, a quality that led her down the road of scientific inquiry. Her life's goal is to blur the boundaries between Aos Si magic and Human technology, symbolically bringing the two races together as one. Most of her research revolves around the seemingly miraculous material tied to both disciplines, Wofleonium. This has naturally led to her becoming a researcher for New Age Technologies, where she can devote herself to her studies freely.
