Emped Class Submarine
Named for Empedocles, the greek philosopher credited with the first comprehensive theory of light and vision, the Emped Class Submarine is a dual use platform built for defense of orbital space from underwater.
The submarine was originally designed and built on Atlantica for testing with the intention of building completed models of the submarine on the planet Hawking later on. After the New Years Revolution the submarine was taken by the Magnetic Assembly for use on Atlantica against ISOC forces in orbit. Being that it could submerge, it was the only watercraft that survived the initial engagement and would continue to harass ISOC forces until the Armistice two years later.
