Located in the constellation of Ursa Major, Yasny is 92.88 light years away from Sol and can be seen from Earth with the naked eye. Being a white-blue A-type main sequence star, Yasny burns hot and bright, recently reaching the first quarter of its estimated lifespan. It is thought that the system has a turbulent past due to the placement of debris, but it has evidently stabilized in the last few million years. Yasny is larger than Sol by 2.8 times, sitting at 3.3 solar masses in comparison.
Despite up to date analysis of the system, the origin of Yasny remains unknown. The greatest mystery that still baffles state institutes across the CCM lies in Yasny’s late discovery. Cross examination of older star charts have shown no evidence of Yasny being where it is, yet it is as if a dark cosmic gap has been filled by this star in approximately 2061. Many argue that Yasny was engulfed in an interstellar cloud that dispersed some millennia ago, but the investigation continues.
