Union Service Uniform
The Union Service Uniform was developed in 2305 for general use 'on the job'
Layout
The uniform itself is a general purpose, lightweight, top and pants that both zip closed with additional hook and loop fasteners for reinforcement.
Top
The top has additional fasteners on top and on the sides of the shoulders to fit patches, pins, or technology such as Infrared Recognition Tabs.
Trousers
The trousers include belt hoops, two pockets on either side, and a pair of additional hook and loop fastener pockets near the knees. The knee area also has an internal pocket over the knees to add protective kneecap inserts.
Undershirt
There are a number of undershirt options available for the USU, and are often optional.
