• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

Type 94 Logistical Support Drone

The Type 94 Logistical Support Drone is used by the Dìguó Jūnshì of the Empire of Daqin, having come into service in 2294 CE.

Rather boxy and roughly measuring 120x60x60cm, the Logistical Support Drone was designed with the goal of supporting the supply chain. In addition to serving as a mobile hover carrier of various supplies and ammunition, it features at least half a dozen sub-drones that aid it in its task. These sub-drones are arm-like in shape and function, but can adjust their length via a telescoping design and feature mechanical, four fingered hands on both ends to enable additional mobility and use. With one hand attached or anchored to a surface, the other can tend to various other tasks, in addition to linking up with others to further boost their collective reach. In emergencies, the drone may even use its arms as legs instead. Perhaps most importantly however, these arms enable the Type 94 to perform one of its most important tasks as well:

Recharging, reloading and refueling of various other assets, including other, more combat orientated drones incapable of doing these tasks on their own. These units typically follow after Daqin soldiers at a safe distance, and stay out of sight due to both their value, and lack of armament.

Note: need to re-concept as something not hover
