History
Developed in 2300, the SRPk-2300 was designed with operations on Kitzeh in mind, with design choices made around what materials were available in the far flung star system. It replaces a number of older RPk systems in use by the Soyuz.
Usage
The SRPk-2300 has a very conventional layout that will be familiar to most within the Soyuz. It contains minimal parts that are built heavy and with tolerances for extreme heat and cold. This serves the secondary purpose of making the weapon easy to maintain, but primarily is to ensure a large volume of continuous fire can be provided in the harsh environments of Kitzeh without failure.
