• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

His real world experience is somewhat limited, but he doesn't let them make him indecisive.

Appearance

Liaokuo is very composed, rarely showing strong emotion, but can be seen smiling and laughing with friends and crewmates. His one cybernetic eye can make him look like he is staring off into the void often.
He has a Yin-yang tattoo on his left arm that is also part of a wearable datapad, he swipes the yin-yang at his wrist and goes down his arm to activate it.
He has a tattoo for the character 平 behind his right ear as well. He believes it will help think calmly during tense situations.

History

Liaokuo was born into the military and trained from a young age. His family was caring, but he was never particularly close with them, which partially came from their military background.
During his time in military school he was never top of his class, but was consistent and performed well. His biggest weakness was physics, he passed, but always struggled with it. If there was one area he excelled in, it was interplanetary politics and geography of different planets.
He follows Neo-taoism, and strives for balance.
He was a good candidate for ship captain due to his 'jack of all trades' skillset.

Skills

Skills are things that they are either talented at or are practiced at doing. Maybe the character is a great cook, or a master sharpshooter. They could have medical skills of some sort, maybe field medic ability but not surgeon level stuff. In the end of the day, listing the skill and then following it up with some details or specifics would be ideal.
  • Skill 1:
  • Skill 2: and onward from here!

Traits

Traits are more or less some noteworthy aspects of your character. Are they brave? Are they cowardly? Is this person creative or dumb? Maybe they're very pretty, or completely distracting?
