Baima (白马) Armored Fighting Vehicle
The Baima Armored Fighting Vehicle, literally “White Horse”, refers to the generalist AFV chassis that forms the foundation of most HFR lightly armored units. With a generously spaced interior and simple maintenance requirements, the Baima is highly configurable and can be adapted to most environments and mission profiles.

Layout
The base Baima chassis features a fission power plant at the front of the hull and uses eight large wheels for locomotion. It is likely armored with a ceramic-metal composite, enough to deflect small arms fire, shrapnel, and micrometeorites, but little else. Most configurations feature a point defense laser turret.
All Baima configurations have a driver and at least one officer who controls the activate module. There is enough interior space to carry ten other infantrymen, or six up-armored special forces and their companion drones. The following are the typical Baima configurations:
At additional cost and mass, the Baima can be refitted with stealth technology. Projector panels can be installed to dynamically camouflage the tank to the background. Liquid hydrogen-lithium tanks can be installed to absorb waste heat, dumped upon maximum capacity, making the vehicle near invisible to infrared sensors. This is most commonly outfitted on the recon configuration.

- Anti air missile carrier, featuring a long range sky scanner and four vertically launched AA missiles
- Anti tank missile carrier, featuring a long range ground scanner and a missile turret carrying four direct launch AT missiles, with enough internal space to store six more
- Infantry fighting vehicle, featuring an auto-cannon and internal space for passengers and equipment
- Heavy fire support vehicle, featuring a coilgun turret
- Reconnaissance vehicle, featuring large sensor arrays and a drone platform, and limited internal space for special forces
- Armored supply carrier, armor kept to a minimum along with other peripherals to maximize speed and carrying capacity
