So the conversation came up in VC about sports. How does one ensure fair play when people are running around with cybernetics and bionetics?
Cybernetics might seem obvious: just don't allow cybernetic limbs. But that'd rule out a significant portion of the population who have cybernetics because they were disabled, or they had them before they decided to go into sports. There's also less obvious cybernetics like eyesight enhancements, maybe stronger lungs, or neural enhancements.
Then there's bionetics. Besides their less obvious nature, what if someone's parents got bionetic enhancements and passed on the "better" genes?
