• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

As a light uniform made for light noncombat duties, the QXZ-99 was made with visual appeal and comfort first and foremost. Personnel interacting with foreign staff or diplomats from outside of the Daqin Empire, or perhaps doing office and logistical work, are the most likely to us the light uniform to reduce intimidation. The outfit consists of a back zipped bodysuit along with accompanying boots and gloves that seamlessly interlock to give the appearance of being a singular unit.

Being composed of a mixture of advanced synthetic polymer fabrics, the components are both breathable and fire resistant. Despite being typically being thought of as a desk job outfit, it typically comes in four chest color panel variations to give outsiders a general idea of the wearer's occupation, but not specifics:
  • Red: Command
  • Yellow: Assault
  • Blue: Defense
  • Green: Support
Due to its nature, the uniform has been known to be modified to personal tastes, with the degree of changes depending on the ranking officer. This gives different battle groups and the like some minor but distinct differences while performing light non-combat duties.
