History
After the massive leak of the Zero Point and the poor reception of it's 45 ACP model Mass and Mechanix promised to deliver on its unique sidearm for the New Austin Sherrif Rangers. The resulting research is the Starhawk, it's fully electromagnetically propelled BB's have more stopping power than traditional chemical propellants.
A Unique model for New Austin Stellar Rangers dubbed "Talon" was given to the Law enforcement which stood out from the civilian release by adding a more robust barrel design with extra housing to cover the Coils. The Coil Covers were machined for the department but later the Talon went to public market and custom coil covers became common. Sadly they offer entirely cosmetic differences and add no tactical advantage whatsoever. The coils are sealed during manufacturing and lock in when assemble making the cover more like a decorative case.

Layout
The unique cylinder can hold 24, Twenty Four 12.7mm FM BBs in a spiral that feeds forward. The cylinder does not roll out and us instead loaded through one hole. Speedloaders can fill the cylinder in under a second. The gun does use universally available parts from other appliances like its Fuse and Compacitor Array produced by Universal Appliances LLC, a UA based company birthed from a failed Ikea- General Electric Merger in 2116. Their power cells were household items to New Austin settlers. In the grip of the pistol is a rectangular prism powercell known as a UA-S12, or Universal Appliances- Size 12. This has a battery lock next to the trigger where a mag lock would typically be. An indicator led on the front end of the gun let everyone know its ammo count while a small horizontal light bar on the grip displays the battery power remaining. A colored indicator ring on the outside of the gun diagnoses problems like no battery power, blown fuse, dangerous coil damage. The Coils are hidden inside 3D Printed housing and sealed with inert gasses. They are replacable in sections to repair damage however Marines have found that you can keep stacking sections and with a bipod and body mod you can turn the Revolver into a Sniper.
All models delivered to Law Enforcement had Arboretum Organic Covers as a stock option with the GPS trackers connected to the New Austin Satellite arrays going up during its introduction.
