For now, just quickly jotted down notes.

Social Organization

  • Society is organized into "Circles"
  • Lowest circle is considered the most important one, which supports all others as a central pillar/foundation
  • Most important, powerful, influential occupations and positions in society are in the lowest circles
  • Lesser, poorly regarded positions and occupations in the higher circiles
  • Mobility through the circles is highly encouraged, going lower is connotated with becoming steeped/being deeper in core values
  • Level of circles also believed to indicate how far one will go for their beliefs and values

Ethics and Morality

Out of Character Notes

  • Believe themselves to be the guardians/administrators of Hell or a place of punishment for incompetence and rewarding place for competence
  • Reward the clever, the strong, the accomplished, those with strong wills, etc
  • The bigger the powerplay, the more lauded it is on success, but also more heavily punished on failure
  • Plots, schemes and power moves gotta be sexy, clever and or stylish
  • Culture is passionate, not ashamed about gaining power
  • All about earning or winning things, everything is fair game
  • Values intelligence as much as brute force
  • Power is a tool to achieve an end
  • Pleasure and Punishment are both important
  • Ancient Infernumar culture was much more cut throat than present day, with all sorts of schemes and plots in motion
  • Matriarchal, females can collaborate
  • Males, it is a zero sum game, very competitive; only so many of them can benefit, competing for women
  • Violent, lustful society
  • Modern day is very much more mellowed due to the advent of technology and the various plots and schemes that could occur with it; everyone has a knife at each other's neck, so they don't even bother and things are done out of respect for heritage with symbology and so forth
  • Works of art are often falsely advertised, designed to rope people in, make them invested, but be an inevitable trainwreck that causes suffering in the viewer so that they can get off on the suffering
  • Communal arts are very popular, despite digital arts that can only be done at home/alone
  • Performing arts such as movies, plays and so forth are the most popular, scripts for plays, books are informative
  • A society of extroverted perverts and sadists
  • Strong history of democracy with large participation
  • Like to orchestrate casus belli in order to have ritualized conflict/war
