Dreams of a Lost Soul is a plot centered on the world of Kami, a lost colonizing experiment of ancient times. There are going to be storylines and plots found all throughout this fantasy-heavy world. You, the players, will help define what this world is through your actions.

About

A lost colonization effort by an old man with dreams of galaxy-wide peace. An experiment to see if all the races of the galaxy could co-exist together without interference from the greater nations of the galaxy. But that has all been forgotten as the years progressed. Thousands of years have gone on as kingdoms have risen and fallen many times over. The colonies rose into different nations as they fought for resources, land and more. As denizens of the Kami, it is up to you on how the world will be shaped. From the high courts of the High Elves or the blistering deserts of the Infernumar great houses or even the pirates on the high seas, it is a living world that is ripe for the taking. Wars ravage it on all shores. Disaster never lets up as the people focus on one thing and one thing only; survival.

Plot Style and Expectations

This plot focuses heavily on the more fantasy aspects of the website, with very little to no science-fiction elements playing a major role. It is from the perspective of various characters and storylines throughout the entirety of the world(That being the world of Kami), instead of focusing on one central group of characters. Your choices will matter. It decides who is allies to who, or who is King. Even what Kingdoms are around in the end. With so many vast choices, it is up to you to decide where to start. The rating is 333, though violence and sex are not the focus of the plot. It is just to help give freedom to creative writers. Almost all posts will be on the forums in the form of post-by-post in various threads. The occasional Joint-post may occur if all members of the said storyline agree, and in the end, the GM will post it on the forums.

Suggested Character Origins

There are many different avenues you can approach to creating a character for these storylines. The only requirement is that they have to have been born on the planet of Kami, and be of one of the pre-approved races. I will write guides on the various factions and races available soon, so check back soon for more information!
