Appearance
Roosters come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with the primary requirement being physical attractiveness. Despite their human-like appearance, they possess features reminiscent of their namesake, the rooster. Their legs sometimes have scales from the knee down, with softer scales and skin at areas where flexibility is important. Instead of typical nails, their toes have small claws. Roosters also feature vibrant, colorful plumage at key locations on their bodies, such as their arms and tail, as well as feathers on their heads that can serve as subtle accessories or more elaborate arrangements.
Enhancements
Roosters, like all Daqinren, have basic genetic augmentations that give them superior physical characteristics and abilities compared to humans. However, their most notable enhancements are related to their mental abilities. Designed to excel in social situations, diplomacy, and negotiation, Roosters possess augmentations that allow them to perceive and analyze subtle nuances in a person's expression and body language. This enables them to better understand the likes, dislikes, and motivations of others over time.
Their mental enhancements also allow them to effectively manage personnel and projects, thanks to a larger mental workspace and an analytical mind capable of memorizing intricate details of numerous individuals. Roosters have excellent perception even among Daqinren and can easily pick out details and movement in their environment.
A more subtle enhancement is a Rooster's ability to change their scent. Specialized organs in their body sense and analyze individuals they focus on, making subtle changes to their own scent to provoke favorable responses. This process is semi-conscious and not fully under their control. Furthermore, Roosters' feathers have added utility, with the ability to bend and move according to their mood and needs, adjust length and volume, and interface with appropriately configured technology in a manner similar to some combat-oriented Daqinren forms.
