Anivern
Anivern was an island in the north of Hawking that has been blighted by a fungal disease left behind by visitors to the planet sometime in the past. The Grawla had been attempting to return to the island, and reclaim the territory through salting the land to prevent the fungus from growing.
The island's vegetation, and animal life had been infested with fungus, and once inland from the beach the island iwas covered in forests and deep but narrow canyons with numerous lava-flow created tunnels. Ancient Grawla had once carved castles into walls of the thin canyons deeper inland.
In 2324 The Iconman Zavul would approach the island, and within a day of is arrival the island disappeared in a flash along with the surrounding waters. A massive blast followed as the air and sea rushed in to fill the void space that remained.
