The 14.8 GFK (14.8x61.6mm) is an expensive ammunition used in the Z03 Heavy Carbine of the HFR. Also known as the "Thumb Missile", the 14.8 GKF is designed to level the playing field between HFR soldiers with limited biological and cybernetic enhancements, against their more biologically advanced Daqin counterparts.

The 14.8 GFK is a long cartridge, its internal construction is highly complex, featuring the following components:
  • Solid rocket booster for acceleration in and out of the barrel
  • RC nozzles connected to the booster for in-flight trajectory adjustments, regardless of atmospheric conditions
  • DN-3 "Bullet Brain" Computer that manages the RCS, disarming the warhead when necessary, and receives feedback from the optical sensor
  • Explosive warhead armed by default, only disarmed by onboard computer, designed to detonate upon penetration into flesh
  • Optical sensor at nose
Despite the complexity of the propulsion system and the nose sensor, the DN-3 flight computer is the most expensive component onboard the 14.8 GFK. Not only is it able to make microsecond calculations and survive 100,000 g acceleration, it also communicates near instantaneously with the Z25-T rifle itself and the user's on-suit sensors for optimal targeting, forming a cornerstone of an electronic net that traps the target in a hail of pinpoint accurate gunfire.
