The first impression one gets when Vladimir comes into the room is his size. Tall and wide at the chest, the ex-miner is accustomed to being the largest person in the room. His age is apparent in the grey hairs in his brown beard and the thinning hair line.

Brash and straight forward, Vlad speaks his mind and doesn’t particularly care if it pisses others off. Despite that, he makes sure to listen when those in authority speak, whether that authority comes from a higher rank or an explosive detonator.

Born in 2284, Vladimir spent most of his life working as a miner, first in old, unproductive mines that his ancestors had toiled away under the Tsars, before moving to the asteroid belt, digging for the building blocks of civilization, iron and water ice. After living through one too many accidents, Vlad decided to go for the only other career that let him play with high explosives, the military.
