Rapid fire SMG, compact, ideal for CQC in interiors and formidable in mid-range suppression. Commonly carried by Soyuz police, often with stun/tranquilizer non-chromatic ammo for rapid incapacitation.
History
The development of the Nova Karibou began with tender circulation to the CCM Ministry of Defence, after the latter offered to award a firearms manufacturing contract to whichever organisation could design (and demonstrate production capacity for) a new order enforcement weapon. The MoD provided necessary specifications and Nova Arsenal rose to the challenge, providing several prototypes of concealable stun SMGs that pleased some of the more senior captains and inspectors in the CCM Police. With some improvements to recoil absorption and general handling, the final iteration of the N-Karibou went into production at the request of the MoD, making it into the hands of the general police force shortly after.
Proving to be an expedient and non-lethal solution in putting disorderly citizens and criminals out of action, the Karibou continues its service under the overcoats of enforcers across CCM territory.
