M90 Personal First Aid Kit

• Standard issue for American Union front-line combat personnel
• Composed of an outer sleeve worn at the lumbar region, and an inner sleeve that can be pulled out from either side via its tab
• Inner sleeve is a sealed poly-cloth container that is vacuum rated and heat/radiation resistant, connected to outer sleeve via coiled lanyard
• Inner sleeve 'zipper' is a smart polymer that tears and reseals as dictated by the slider, folds open to reveal contents
• Includes the contents of an M88 Emergency Aid Kit in addition to supplemental equipment
• 'Slap On' tourniquet for an arm and leg that are slapped onto the limb, then tightened with a dial on one end
• Med-foam canister comes with collapsed polymer applicator tip which stiffens and hardens on activation, allows injection of foam directly into wound channel to stop bleeding
