• Nobles of Null is a forum based roleplay site where sci-fi and magic collide. Here, Earth remains fractured and divided despite humanity reaching out to the stars. Worse still, the trans-human slaves of one major power have escaped, only to establish their own Empire, seething with resentment at abuses of the past. Even the discovery of aliens, though medieval in development, has failed to rally these squabbling children of Earth together with its far darker implications. Worse still, is the discovery of the impossible - magic. Practiced by the alien locals, nearly depleted and therefore rare, its reality warping abilities remains abstract and distant to the general populace. All the while, unseen in the darkness of space, forces from without threaten to press in. For those with eyes opened by insight, it is clear that an era is about to end, and that a new age will dawn.

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed wished he had his sword, eyes moving around trying to find it as the others in the room theorized and discussed. Of course it wouldn't be in that hospital room. It was like being reunited with one's soul when he got it back, and he could think critically for a moment. He wasted exactly no...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed's hand felt the comforting presence of Amisra's. Warm despite the ice she showed to the world, it grounded him in the wrong moment. Grounded in a moment they had had together once before, and so when that moment became untrue again he was thrust into consciousness. And that comforting hand...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed knew this man. Not his name, nor his history, but Gwaed knew his fate. This building, this death factory, he knew it's very location. He knew where it still was, hidden from the public eye but never far from the public consciousness. They knew. Of course they knew. And once, they had...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed had fallen to his knees as this surge tried to put him down for good, the priest’s foolish attempts at reclamation resulting in a shock to the heart to all present… or so it seemed. In the excruciating seconds between life and death, he looked at those Aos Si who had brought this upon them...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed watched, trying to hide the uncertainty in his eyes. They were strangers, these Aos Si, untrustworthy in their motives. Yet, a suddenly vocal part of Gwaed wanted to see something happen. Something fantastical to prove, once and for all, his talk of the old magic wouldn't garner scoffs...

And Gwaed knew the saying was actually “a broken clock was right twice a day,” which suited him in regards to his feelings on these cultists far more. He knew she couldn’t help but make the connection in her head, as it had occurred to him as well. These religious leaders suffered from hindsight...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

When he had agreed to join this expedition he hasn’t realized just how much politicking would be involved. Perhaps the thrill of adventure blinded him, offering him an avenue of work that wasn’t built on paperwork and people who were fundamentally untrustworthy. Now, they worked to keep their...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed, far less subtle in any way, looked at the elves and humans arrayed before them with obvious suspicion. Aos Si pride had been tempered with the understanding that sometimes the humans and their own kind were far too liable to be untrustworthy. Putting on a smile, more a mask than anything...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed blinked, eyes focusing once more. He'd been half listening, the information settling in his mind as it coursed through many of the same questions. They had received visions, seemingly unprompted, from the site. If it had done so before it was a ruin that would direct belief into this being...

    Pearl of Heaven

Wife AND husband. Hopefully they got along, otherwise date night would be awkward as hell. Must be nice, having two people to tolerate you for extended periods of time. Fang Zhao barely had time for himself. As the alien species around them revealed their positions by their movements, and even...

Book 2, Chapter 1: Approaching Darkness

The effort to become intimate with the janitor droid was amusing, but KB had to focus on his task. "They will require no drinks. I assure you, they are quite self-sufficient." Quickly moving on to his questions as he idly walked with the woman on his arm, he spoke with a casual undertone. "I an...

He was hers, she thought, curling her limbs around him as he came inside her. It was her one of her favorite feelings, one of her special pleasures she indulged, a vice against her. She purred into his ears, mewling, whispering. "You're dangerously sexy," she purred. She nuzzled into his...

Day in the Life: Aos Si Ruins on Jing

Gwaed memorized every second of the vision granted by whatever rouge arcana was loose in this place, as though the ghosts of the past saw fit to distract them while their lifeless servants marched towards them. Now he was running, reluctantly, to lead these things down a tight corridor where...

His croaks met with her continued mewls, enraptured by him as she held on. To her, he exuded sexuality, though that certainly was skewed by her needs. Her needs being, largely, someone that would pay attention to her from time to time, and could allow themselves to sit and be talked to. Two...

That accent was going to drive her crazy. Any accent, any time, the concept was something she had never thought of as possible. Something rooted in old sci-fi cartoons, yet the technology had apparently been around for years now. And here she was, with the one language and a host of problems...

The surprised look in her eyes was replaced by a little shaky sigh, caught off guard but reactivated in a sense, and already mewling. Gently pushing the meal to a safe distance with a free hand, she then gripped his clothing. "Remi, are you trying to sex my stress away?" She giggled, her...

A small smile crept across her features, a certain calm spreading through her. She felt like she was sapping the peace from him, like some sort of emotional vampire. With a quiet 'ahh' she opened her mouth, and wrapped it around the fork, eyes staring into his semi-provocatively. She she pulled...

She gave out a little chuckle, one that reeked of an exasperated agreement. "Yes, while I don't speak Mandarin the meaning is... well known." She leaned back, supported by an arms as she ate from her bowl to think. She spoke again, shrugging. "When we find something more suitable, we'll use...

Her eyes shifted, partially aware of her less than savory night job, and also… what were her hobbies? Well, she’d recently taken an interest in his war games, she liked listening to music… the thing was, she didn’t want to appear as some basic bitch but she didn’t have much time for fun these...

“Ohh, if you played me music my heart would be yours forever.” His hand on hers, her eyes noting it with a glance and a smile, she began to eat. “Music speaks to my heart. And so does food! Look at you making like a chef and serving me something good.” She kissed his cheek before diving into...
